The Mango Money Prepaid MasterCard is one of the newest (and cheapest) prepaid cards available. With a fee structure that can keep the cost of this card under $5 a month depending on how you use it, Mango Money offers one of the best values among prepaid cards.
Mango Money–No Hidden Fees
Among all of the prepaid credit cards available today, Mango is without a doubt one of the lowest cost prepaid cards available. First, the catch. There is a $5 monthly fee for the card, but Mango will waive the fee if you deposit at least $500 a month onto the card. But even at $5, the fee ranks as one of the lowest, particularly given that the card doesn’t charge for much else. There is a $5 shipping fee to get your card, but Mango is even waiving that fee for a limited time. So with deposits of $500 a month, the card is free, and with less than $500, it’s just $5 a month.
With one exception, there is also no fee for adding money to your card. A Mango card can be loaded with cash through direct deposit, from a bank account, with a Green Dot MoneyPak, from a mobile phone, or online from another Mango customer. Only the Green Dot MoneyPak comes with a fee charged by Green Dot ($4.95). The rest are free. There is a $2 charge for making an ATM withdrawal.
No Credit Check
There’s no credit check required to get the Mango Money card. And if you are in ChexSystems, that’s no problem, either. If you have bad credit or no credit history, you can still enjoy the benefits of a prepaid debit card and shop anywhere MasterCard debit is accepted.
Using Mango Money
As with most prepaid cards, Mango can be used anywhere MasterCard debit cards are accepted, which is just about everywhere. It can be used to make purchases online, and money can even be transferred and received via your mobile phone.

THIS CARD WOULD REALLY HELP ME TO PAY MY BILLS EASIER
This card is AWESOME!! My husband and I each have one which makes it so easy to transfer money between our cards, and still make sure we don’t go over the money we have available like you could with a normal checking account. This is by far the best prepaid card available!
