YAP MasterCard Fees
The YAP MasterCard’s fees are both low and simple. The card is free and there is NO activiation fee. Purchases are free, and for a limited time, YAP won’t even charge to send you the card. The monthly fee is waived for the first month, and load at least $500 a month on the card, and the monthly fee is waived every month. If you load less than $500, the monthly fee is just $5.
It also doesn’t cost anything to load money onto the YAP card. Direct deposit of a paycheck or government benefits check is free, and bank transfers onto the card are also free. You do have the option of adding money to the YAP card at retailers. While YAP doesn’t charge a fee for this service, the retailer may. There is also a $2 fee for ATM withdrawals, plus any additional fees charged by the ATM operator.
